Dutch government and companies partly responsible for the genocide and war crimes regime Saddam Hussein
The Dutch State offered a scapegoat, the public prosecutor Fred Teeven (Liberal party “VVD”)offered Frans van- Anraat responsible for export trade of the by Dutch VVD-CDA-government’ export agreement “poison gas” with Saddam Hussein of Iraq and called 15 years sentence against him. On 23 December 2005 Frans van Anraat was sentenced to 15-years in jail. On 9 May 2007, the appeal court increased Van-Anraat’s sentence to 17-years. The crimes convictions of the Dutch state for its support and selling chemicals to Saddam Hussein for which in the nineteen eighties, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Frits Bolkestein (VVD party) is responsible. The Dutch state knew the ingredients was buying will be used to make poison gas and end in the battlefield, the lethal gas was used in attacks of 16-18 March 1988 on several villages and cities with the intention of wiping out the Kurdish population on both sides of Iran-Iraq borders. |
