INSTITUTE ELAMIRKAN
The Statutes Institute Elamirkan is an independent research and educational institution, supported from publication sales and by individual donations and grants from charitable trusts.
The name Elamirkan is abbreviated of Elam Mirkan which designates culture heritage of the ancient Kurdsu. The discovery began with the Elam and Elamite inscriptions, that is the reason behind the name Elamirkan. But in the course of the research became obvious that not only Elamite, all ancient Near Eastern inscriptions (excavated in ancient Kurdish territories) are inscribed in Kurdish tribal languages.
Established in 2001 in Netherlands (registered KVK-number 27199183). Institute Elamirkan replaced the former Kurdish Mirkan Association which was established in 1994 in the Hague Netherlands.
The aims of Elamirkan have been statutory defined as follows Preservation of the existence of the Kurdish nation; by carry out the fact that the ancient peoples and languages “Elamite, Sumerian, Babylonian, Akkadian, Aurámi/Haurámi (ancient Aramaian), Hati, Huti (Hittitian), Hurrian, Assyrian, Parthian, Sasanian and other civilizations in Kurdish territory” are ancient Kurdish peoples and languages. The western authorities have unjustly declared these ancient Near Eastern languages and peoples (the Kurdish) to be extinct. The Institute Elamirkan tries to reach its aims by: 1. Correction and new interpretation of the Near Eastern ethnology, history and languages; a. By means of research come to an justifying interpretation of the Near Eastern civilization), where the proof can be given on historical, ethnological, and etymological grounds and is backed up by the cultural relationships between the ancient Near Eastern and European language families in many areas. The Kurdish language plays the key role in this discovery; b. By exhibition, workshops and publishing the results of the research in books, Article, organizing of international debates we hope to advance the general public and the scientists in understanding of real ancient Near Eastern civilization and the human development. c. To stop the continuing falsification of Kurdish ancient, uprooting of the Kurdish existence.
2. To find out relations between existence traditional Kurdish arts songs, rituals and instrumental music to the known ancient Near East epics, rituals and lamentations; a. By organizing music-theatre from traditional Kurdish folks music, exhibition, workshops and debates; b. Cary out the rich elements of ancient Kurdish culture such remained traditionally Kurdish epics, rituals, music and arts song.
